Welcome to our world!
When you read this short introduction, you will not have to be a genius to understand the difference between maintenance and production type lubricants. When you finish reading these lines, you will quickly realise just how advanced our products are.
What oil companies try to accomplish in ten years and pass the details to re-sellers, marketers and re-packers, we can formulate and upgrade within weeks. In this advanced digital age, no one has time to lose and no one is interested in empty promises. Don't take our word, try to ring any oil company after 6.00pm or even during working hours to obtain some information, order a product, or ask for assistance and see how far you will get. Good luck getting through the answering machines, switchboards, being transferred from one department to the other; don't take our word, it is an open invitation. Yet they all have glossy books telling you how big their facilities are and asking you to buy more products.
U.S. Lubricants is different; we are committed to upgrading our products and delivering them directly with no middle man, store, supermarket or department store. When you talk to any of our salesmen, they are also the technical manager, also the direct account supervisor and are your personal advisors. Our products are thoroughly tested and proved – not in laboratories but in the field where peak performance really matters. We do not use recycled oils, recycled drums or the second class of anything. We do not manufacture or market anything in our range for common use. All our products are to compensate for the failures oil companies pass-off as lubricants. When ordinary oils and greases fail, we come into the picture.
Every single oil, grease or chemical we manufacture is specifically advanced to save the user money, extend the life of the unit and eliminate downtime. Every one of our products is for a specific application. Running a machine to produce a simple item such as hair combs for example, requires no exceptional design talent, yet the owner needs to run their machine around the clock to make a profit. If the oil they use cannot be manufactured to keep this unit running non-stop, it will break down. However, U.S. Lubricants is different. We make sure that every one of our lubricants, be it oil or grease has been designed to produce the very maximum life of your machinery for 24 hours a day, every day. When oil companies started manufacturing the recent gear oil GL 5 grade in 1999, it was hailed as a revolution in the lubrication industry, yet we classified that grading as obsolete in 1991. That is the difference.
Nothing at U.S. Lubricants has been spared; no cost related product enters through our door. We use the most advanced, most pure and the most recent chemical formulations developed by our in-house chemists. Our base stocks are allocated to us only, we do not allow anyone, or any company to use our stocks and formulations. Our integrity enables us to secure these stocks for many years to come. Our research shows that various applications require different properties. Example: A transformer oil must be free of moisture – yet most oil companies supply a naphthenic based transformer oil and the user has no option. A diesel engine oil for some applications must have a very high B.N. (base number), but oil companies produce their products so that they fit easier into their production line and recommend the second base and every so often change the names of their products to add more confusion. NONE of our products have changed a name in 36 years.
